Walk up and accept your awards

..go on, walk. I know you can do it, I've seen you.

Anyway, you have more stalkers fans! Which is awesome - if I ever self publish these letters into a real live book like your grandmother seems to think is possible, I can put "award-winning" on the cover and not be full of crap.

(She phoned me the other day to inform me that she'd shown the blog to a friend of hers who agreed that yes, it was publishable. I didn't say, um, Mom? She's your friend, of course she's going to say that. But I guess I just did, because she'll read it here. Whoo - passive aggressive of me, hey? I'll try to get it all worked out of my system before you're old enough to pay attention).

...where was I? Oh, right - awards!

This one was bestowed upon us by the lovely and talented Heather of Maternal Spark, and I'm somewhat remiss in accepting it. But sometimes you have to let things percolate.

This award is given to "bloggy friends who have sparked creativity, conversation, controversy and friendships!". Aw! I'm inspirational! Take note - you can put that down in your Valedictorian speech.

I hereby pass it on to Frogs in my Formula, Casey at Half As Good As You, Web-Betty, and The Stiletto Mom. All of these ladies keep me laughing, make me welcome, and inspire me to write half as good as they do!

The next award was given to us by Kelly at The Neurotic Mom:

...yeah, I have no idea what that says. Multi-lingual, I am not (but don't let that stop you. In fact, I'm signing you up for Portuguese lessons right now. Um...I think that's Portuguese. It could be Spanish?). Translation? Anybody?

I'm going to assume it's benign, since it has pretty butterflies on it, and pass it on to Dad to Two and Life According to Me.
